When you come to this museum you will find a massive array of interesting exhibits which are related to those musical and Scottish traditions. This collection focuses around the life and times of locally born musician J. Scott Skinner. He was famous for playing the bagpipes and some of his musical instruments and costumes have been given to the museum by his family. There are also excellent collections of tartan and other local textiles on display.
