Elgin Library houses a large collection of books on a variety of subjects and has been a cultural focal point in the community for many years. There is a local history collection within the library which allows interested visitors to find out more about the locality and surrounding region. On occasion the library hosts a variety of events ranging from talks by experts to art shows and craft fairs.
