Huntly Castle is noted for its splendid architecture and served as a baronial residence for five centuries. The location is a splendid one, sited at the confluence of the rivers Bogie and Deveron, the property is now overseen by Historic Scotland. The 1st Marquis undertook a makeover in the early 17th Century creating the impressive South Front. The palatial interiors are adorned with antiques and paintings.
