Spynie Palace was the residential residence of the bishops of Moray for five centuries until 1686. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, wildlife and birdsong, this is an enchanting place to visit. David’s Tower is one of the centrepieces of the palace, the largest surviving by volume in the whole of Scotland. The site is managed by Historic Scotland who spend a great deal of effort on maintaining the interesting architecture.
