Managed by Historic Scotland, this beautiful castle complex is home to an array of buildings that date from the 12th Century to the 18th Century. The original hall house is considered to be one of the oldest complete stone castles still standing anywhere in Scotland. The east range has a painted ceiling with ornate detail and the gardens are landscaped in a traditional 16th Century style.
