This Museum and Heritage Centre tells the story of the region from the very earliest settlements to the way it is today. Visitors are treated to a fascinating display of archaeological finds from the community and the surrounding areas, antiques and beautiful objects that have been in local hands as well as maps and documents that shows the way the place has changed. The heritage centre also concerns itself with the social history of the ordinary man.
