Dunfermline Library is located at the centre of the community and is one of the central cultural centres in the community. Offering an extensive range of texts that cross a massive range of subjects for loan, as well as a wealth of audiovisual materials, the library is a first class research centre. There are interactive terminals that allow access to the internet as well as being an extensive local studies section.
