The Dunfermline Museum offers a small gallery of artwork as well a an extensive collection of artefacts and historical documents that relate to the history of the community. There has been a settlement in and around this site for many thousands of years as the archaeological research shows, and as the people have changed and developed, fragments of this past have been preserved in this museum.
