For nearly three hundred years Pittencrief House was a family home until in 1903 Andrew Carnegie purchased the property and the surrounding grounds. As a gift to the people, Carnegie developed the house into a permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of the region. Today, exhibitions such as ‘The Magic of the Glen’ take visitors on an interactive journey into the dramatic landscapes of Scotland.
