Verdant Works tells the story of old Dundee, the incredible rise of industry in the city and its subsequent decline. One of the primary focuses of the museum is the production of Jute, a versatile natural fibre, which the city is famous for producing. The works has many of the original production machines on show as well as a host of films, multimedia activities and hands on fun for the kids.
