Located in the heart of the county, this museum is dedicated to the region and contains a vast collection of artefacts, archaeological finds, documents, maps and other interesting objects that help to tell the story of the area. The museum is noted for carrying a large amount of paintings by the celebrated artist Alfred Worthington, as well as pieces of taxidermy of the highest order.
