With stunning views of the mountains and River Dyfi, the Meirion Mill was the terminus of the Old Mawddwy Railway. Next to the entrance gate, the 17th Century double arched packhorse bridge, Pont Minllyn, spans the river. Donkeys were used to transport flannel across the bridge so that it could be sold in England. Meirion Mill has a large giftshop where you can buy woollens, rugs, throws, sheepskins, clothing, crafts, jewellery, pottery and slatecraft. There are toilets and plenty of parking space.
