The world famous garden overhung with clipped yews, shelters rare and tender plants. Laid out under the influence of Italian and French styles, the garden retains it’s original lead statues, an orangery and an aviary. Perched on a rock above the garden terraces, the Medieval castle contains one of the finest collections in Wales. It was originally built in C1200 by Welsh princes and was subsequently adapted and embellished by generations of Herberts and Clives.
