The Last Haul is a remarkable sculpture of three fishermen hauling a net. It is made from a block of marble recovered in the 1980s from an 18th Century shipwreck lying on the seabed near the coast a few miles north of Barmouth. The ship is thought to have been a galleon from Genoa, Italy, which ran into a storm on its way to an unknown destination in Britain. Made by a local sculptor, The Last Haul is located near the road to the harbour, where it meets Church Street.
