Elizabeth Castle stands on the Island of Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands, and is a building that has a history that dates back well over three hundred years. The fascinating structure would have throughout the centuries served as a point of defence for the island as well a providing first class residence for the nobility. The castle and its grounds are open to the public.
