Jersey as an island has obviously always had a close connection with the sea, and its people have in the most part needed to have an understanding of the maritime connections that it enjoys. This museum illustrates the ways in which this maritime history has changed and developed throughout the years with recourse to a great many fine artefacts and other documents.
