La Route De Noirmont, St. Brelade, Jersey JE3 8AJ - Channel Islands, UK
Noirmont point is now a permanent war memorial to those who lost their lives in the two World Wars. With the fortifications of the German ammunition shelters, bunkers and flak positions of Batterie Lothringen and a Napoleonic Tower it is easy to see the strategic importance of this headland to the occupying forces. From here you can enjoy fantastic views of St. Aubin’s Bay, St. Helier and the treacherous Sillettes reef and on a clear day the coast of Brittany can be seen on the horizon.
