Situated on the North-West corner of the island this beautiful bay is completely inaccessible for the two hours either side of high tide. Venture down the steep flight of concrete steps at any other time and you will discover a magnificent sandy beach backed by caves, gullies and rock-pools which can all be explored. Jersey has the third largest tidal range in the world and high tide information is posted in the café but, even if you miss-time your visit, the rapidly rising water can be quite mesmerising.
