La Route De Noirmont, St. Brelade, Jersey JE3 8AJ - Channel Islands, UK
The dominant feature of the bay is 'Ile au Guerdain' which is home to Janvrin’s Tomb. Suspected of being infected with the plague, an 18th Century sea captain refused to come ashore and was buried here within site of his home. The small island is reachable via a sandy causeway when the tide is out. Sheltered by cliffs with steep steps to the beach, south facing with soft golden sand and safe for swimming at all states of the tide this bay is a true hidden gem.
