Arnside’s beautiful shoreline offers an array of relaxing walks and stunning views to all visitors. The shore faces the Lakes and Grange to the North-West and West, and on a clear day the scenery can take your breath away. There is a pier which is often littered with fishermen and there are a number of pretty little shops that decorate the promenade. Arnside’s sands are particularly special as they provide a brilliant experience of the tidal bore that sweeps up the Kent estuary which can be caught around two hours before each high tide.
