Lingmoor Fell rises gently above the valleys of Langdale and Elterwater in a gentle ridge a little over a mile long. Easily climbed by even the least fit of walkers, it offers plentiful views, not least of the popular Langdale Pikes just across the valley. The rocky protuberance of Side Pike, erupting from the end of the North-West ridge, offers slightly more exciting scrambling for those of a more energetic disposition.
