Red Screes looms high above the Kirkstone Inn, the highest pub in England. An ascent of this hill can be tackled either from Brotherswater and Hartsop, or from the Grasmere, Rydal and Ambleside region. From the top, weather permitting, there are great views in all directions and you can see as far afield as Morecambe Bay. If you enjoying walking, then Red Screes is one to add to your list!
