Sellafield is one of the most famous sites owned by BNFL and has had a long and controversial existence in Cumbria. The visitors centre offers an interesting and unique educational experience where visitors of all ages can learn about nuclear energy, reprocessing and the way that BNFL operated in partnership with other nuclear energy organisations across the world.
