Run by a group of enthusiasts and volunteers this museum brings together a wealth of artefacts and information related to British military aviation in the northwest of the country in the middle of the 20th Century. There are several aeroplanes outside the main exhibition centre which houses a series of displays on aeroplane engines, jet turbines and piston engines. There are ejector seats and various RAF equipment, uniforms and radios as part of the collection.
