Hampstead is known as a residence of writers, composers, actors, artists and was something of a bohemian community in the late 19th century. Museums include: Fenton House, Freud Museum, Hampstead Museum, Keats' House and Kenwood House. Famous inhabitants have included: Sir Kingsley Amis, Martin Amis, Sir Alan Ayckbourn, Sir John Betjeman, Burton, Lord Byron and Dame Agatha Christie.
