This beautiful manor house is grade 2 listed and is one of the most impressive pieces of architecture in this area of the world. Dorothy Higins whose father had once lived there gave the house to the town. The local civic trust took it upon them to preserve the house and open it to the public so that future generations could marvel at the craftsmanship and internal features.
