Originally built in the 12th Century, the current building mainly dates from the 13th Century. The inside of the church is full of interesting history. Visitors can admire the 15th Century screen showing the four evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John on the north side, and the four doctors, Gregory, Jerome, Ambrose and Augustine on the south side. Anyone with genealogy interests will find extensive records inside the church making research into family history links in the area an enjoyable and interesting task.
