Barlings Abbey
Barlings Lane, Low Barlings, Lincolnshire LN3 5DG - England, UK

Map
Barlings Abbey is an English Heritage project, situated in the wetlands of Lincolnshire, seven miles east of Lincoln. Founded in 1154 as a type of monastery, the only piece of physical evidence that remains is a large tower of stone facade. The surrounding landscape gives indications to the foundations of the Abbey, plus other outbuildings, ponds and ditches. Lincoln Cathedral can be viewed from the site on a clear day.
