The Basset Millennium Walk was first put into place to celebrate the turn of the 21st Century. It takes visitors on an enchanting walk through the Essex countryside around the village of North Weald and across the fields towards Harlow in one direction and Epping in the other. The walk takes sin some of the best views in this part of the countryside, many of which cannot be seen from roads.
