Situated in the heart of the charming village of Binham in the Norfolk, the Market Cross has been an important focal point of social and community life here since the 1500s. The site was used as an annual festival ground between 1100 and 1950 and the cross was built as a centrepiece to this fair. The stone structure shows good examples of medieval stonemasonry and is now protected by English Heritage.
