This museum and art gallery is located at the heart of the community and offers a cultural centrepiece for the town. The collection includes a great many pieces that have been collected over a period of many years and attempt to tell the story of the borough through interesting artefacts, pictures, paintings, documents, maps and much more. There are some excellent artworks on display as part of the collection, many of which are inspired by the locality.
