The Dacorum Heritage Trust was formed in 1993 and became a registered museum in 1997. Originally this historic building was the local fire station, and has been converted to contain a massive selection of archived materials and artefacts that relate to the rich history of Berkhamstead and surrounding areas. Over sixty thousand objects have been carefully logged and catalogued and are available for public viewing.
