Lord Courtauld-Thompson gifted this impressive 1920s Queen Anne Style house and grounds to the National Trust in 1947. Since that time the house has continued to be used as a country retreat by senior politicians and government ministers. The grounds are open to the public and provide two hundred acres of parkland, woodland and farmland that is home to an impressive collection of wildlife and flora.
