Dunwich Heath is run by the National Trust and is set in a Suffolk area of outstanding natural beauty. The area was once part of the extensive Sandlings Heaths and consists of miles of excellent walks and tracks through open heath land. A Wonderful expanse of heather and Gorse together with shady woods provide home to wildlife in this important nature conservation area. From the car park there is also access to beach, Coastguard cottages with Observation room, tea room and shop.
