Duxford Chapel is an English Heritage visitor site and is a hidden gem in the Cambridgeshire countryside. The chapel was built in the 13th Century as a hospital for the sick and infirmed. It slowly evolved into a church throughout the Middle Ages and was the venue for chantry masses to be sung until 1547 and the dissolution of the monasteries saw the chapel fall into disrepair. The chapel is now open to the public and has been restored.
