Unveiled in 2002, this sculpture was inspired by the blades of a wind turbine and is situated in an area of the city that links the old with the new. The figures are seventeen metres tall, made of cast aluminium and reach out across the river to each other. The sculpture also has links with Lincolnshire’s industrial past and has proved a popular piece of contemporary art. In the background of the photograph is the Waterside Shopping Centre containing a number of well-known shops selling a variety of goods.
