Felixstowe Seafront has been a popular destination since the arrival of the railway in 1887. It features a sand and shingle beach spanning over 4 miles between the estuaries of the Rivers Deben and Orwell. Running alongside the beach are a paved promenade, pier and immaculate floral gardens, where you can enjoy the view of the many sailing boats jostling with the large cargo ships. The seafront offers a host of activities, including hiring out a beach hut for a day, crazy golf, swimming and numerous cafes and restaurants.
