Forncett Industrial Steam Museum is hidden quietly away in Forncett St. Mary near Norwich. Started as a hobby, it is now home to one of the most comprehensive collections of working stationary steam engines in the UK. The museum is open to the public on the first Sunday of the month between May and November from 10am to 5.30 pm when the engines can be seen working (in steam) or at other times by arrangement. The museum won the 1989 Steam Heritage Award.
