Local gravel pits provided the flint from which Glandford watermill was rebuilt as far back as 1907. Despite being referred to in the 17th Century it does not get a mention in the Domesday. Sitting along the River Glaven the mill is situated in the tiny North Norfolk village of Glandford and can be seen from the foot bridge across a ford further upstream. The watermill was sold in 1969 and used as a store before eventually being turned into a residential property.
