Great Yarmouth Potteries bring to life the town’s fascinating and varied past. Tucked into the medieval town walls, it's home to the Museum of the Herring Industry, which has an atmospheric smoke room. Other rooms are packed with nautical memorabilia, and the potteries themselves offer visitors the chance to see pottery being moulded, fired and sprayed. Pottery evenings and tours are also available and there’s a shop selling ceramics made on the premises.
