Greene King Brewery and Museum gives you the chance to visit the home of Abbot Ale, Greene King IPA, Old Speckled Hen and Ruddles County. The museum traces the history of brewing in and around Bury St Edmunds. The story of the Greene and King families who came together in 1887 to form Greene King and Sons Ltd. Guided Tours of the Brew House show how real beer is still made today by a mixture of traditional methods. The Brewery Tap provides tutored tasting of the beers and the museum has a well-stocked shop.
