Grimsthorpe Castle is an architecturally stunning house with beautiful contents, including paintings, furniture and tapestries. It is surrounded by 3,000 acres of landscaped parkland, lakes and extensive gardens. There is an adventure playground, red deer herd, cycle trails, park tours, woodland walking trail, refreshments and shop – the complete family day out. Open April to September, Thursdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays; Sunday to Thursday during August. Groups are welcome any time by appointment and evening candlelight supper tours are available.
