Harlow Playhouse is a large provincial theatre which hosts an ambitious programme of events, ranging from touring comedy and musical acts, through to straight plays, musicals and a hugely popular pantomime. As well as hosting established stars, it provides a showcase for the many and varied talents of local theatre groups and dance companies, as well as showing a range of art house cinema. The Playhouse Bar and Cafe are open outside performance times and provides a meeting place for those seeking light refreshment in the town centre.
