Jews House is a two storied stone building dating from 1158 and reputed to be the oldest domestic building in Britain. Next door the Court is probably 17th Century but on the site of a medieval synagogue. Today Jews’ Court is the headquarters of the Society for Lincolnshire History and Archaeology. Both are on an historic walking trail around the old city details from Tourist Information - but the street name is very accurate so take your time.
