Great Yarmouth has been called Disneyland by the sea, and Joyland must be one of the reasons. Built in 1949 by the Cole Family, it is an American-style theme park in miniature, and it's right next to the beach. Some of the rides, such as Tubs and Snails, have survived from 1949, but there are plenty of newer attractions. They include an American diner, jet cars, pirate rides and the toy-town mountain express.
