The site of Kingsbury Watermill on the River Ver has been used for milling since before 1066. The current building is thought to be Elizabethan and has a Georgian brick facade. The workings of the mill are 18th and 19th Century. The mill was restored in 1970 by Gorhambury estates company and in 1982 the Waffle House Restaurant opened. Inside the mill is a display of farming and dairy tool. The mill was last used to make flour in 1936.
