Knotty Green is a large and ancient piece of common land that is situated on the outskirts of Beaconsfield. It was of historic significance and a place of meeting and trading throughout the ages. In fact a small community grew up around the green and there is still a settlement there today. The green is largely used as a sports and recreation facility today.
