These enormous radio telescopes dominated the flat surrounding Cambridgeshire Countryside. One of the most important astronomical research stations in the country, these telescopes can see further than almost any other facilities of this type on earth. The telescopes are working day and night providing data that is used by astronomers and scientists across the world. The telescope site is open to the public for tours on some occasions in the summer months.
