Lowewood Museum is housed in a listed Georgian building that dates from the mid 1750s. The impressive collection allows visitors to discover the fascinating story of the local area through displays relating to geology, social history, photographs of the community and the people and a variety of other antiquities. Many of the objects on display have been donated by local residents and handed down through the generations.
