Manning’s Amusement Park was opened by Sir Billy Butlin and has been run by Charles Manning’s family since 1946. Today it largely features children’s rides and attractions, including indoor mini golf and a mini bowling alley, together with a junior outdoor theme park. The Sunday Market is also very popular, as is the amusement arcade. Visitors will now be serenaded by the sounds of ‘Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside’ from an award-winning clock that has been given a new home on the roof of the Amusement Park.
